The NPORS Lorry Loader training course is designed for operators who need to safely and efficiently operate a lorry loader. This nationally recognised course provides practical, hands-on training combined with comprehensive theoretical knowledge, ensuring participants gain the skills needed to comply with industry safety standards.
Candidates will learn safe loading and unloading techniques, understand lorry loader controls and maintenance, gain awareness of site hazards and how to complete risk assessment.
This course is ideal for those working in construction, logistics, waste management, and other industries where lorry loaders are used. By the end of the training, operators will be confident in handling equipment safely, maximising efficiency, and meeting legal requirements.
Course Duration – Typically 2–3 days, depending on prior experience and trainee progress.
An Experienced Worker Test (EWT) is available for skilled operators who need formal recognition without completing full training.
On successful completion, candidates receive an NPORS Operator Qualification.
