The NPORS Log Handler course equips candidates with the skills and knowledge to safely operate log handling equipment. Covering both theory and hands-on practice, trainees learn safe operating procedures, equipment inspections, maintenance and risk management.
On successful completion, candidates will be have achieved competence in log handling for forestry and timber operations.
Course Duration – 2–3 days
An Experienced Worker Test (EWT) is available for skilled operators who need formal recognition without completing full training. On successful completion, candidates receive an NPORS Operator Qualification.
