First Aid at Work Training.
Our 1-Day First Aid at Work course
is designed for workplaces that require trained first aiders to manage emergency situations until professional medical
help arrives.
The course provides practical, hands-on training and essential knowledge to respond confidently and effectively to common workplace injuries and medical emergencies. Candidates will learn how to assess incidents, manage casualties and apply lifesaving first aid techniques in line with current UK guidelines.
The training is engaging, practical and suitable for a wide range of work environments. The course is aimed at employees who are designated as workplace first aiders, small or low-risk workplaces and anyone wanting essential first aid skills for the workplace
Course Content Includes:
- Roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
- Assessing an incident and managing the scene safely
- CPR and use of an AED
- Choking
- Unconscious casualties
- Severe bleeding and shock
- Minor injuries
Course Duration – 1 day (typically 6–7 hours including breaks)
On successful completion, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work (1-Day /
Emergency First Aid at Work) Certificate, which is valid for 3 years
This qualification meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for
workplace first aid.
First Aid at Work (3-Day Course)
Our First Aid at Work course is a nationally recognised 3 day training programme designed to give candidates the skills and confidence to respond effectively to workplace emergencies. Ideal for higher-risk workplaces or organisations with larger teams, this course ensures your business meets current health and safety and first aid requirements.
Delivered through a mix of interactive learning, practical exercises, and real-life scenarios, the course covers how to assess incidents, provide immediate care and manage a wide range of injuries and medical conditions until professional help arrives.
This course is suitable for employees who have been designated as workplace first aiders and for anyone looking to gain a recognised first aid qualification.
Course Duration – 3 days (18 hours total)
On successful completion, candidates will receive a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) or equivalent, valid for 3 years.
